Detection function: In the communication module of the electric meter, the diode can be used as a detection diode to detect low-frequency signals from high-frequency signals, which is crucial for the data transmission and reception of the electric meter.

Anti-reverse connection protection: The diode can also prevent the positive and negative poles of the power supply from being connected reversely, protecting the meter from being affected by the reverse connection of the power supply.
